CHEADLE HULME GARDENING SOCIETY

The Cheadle Hulme Flower Show Society was established circa 1959 for the purpose of holding an annual Show at the Parish Hall,Church Road, Cheadle Hulme.

The show was held every year in September and the various categories of entry included Dahlias, Chrysanthemums, Fuchsias, Roses, General Flowers and Plants, Vegetables, Floral Art, Cookery and Preserve, Handicrafts, Photographic and Art, and also Junior sections. 

Since first established the Society has expanded and now includes a full programme of events such as visits to places of horticultural interest, short holidays covering gardens of interest, and during the winter, evening talks on various subjects, quiz nights, all arranged by an active committee.

Meetings at Parish Rooms, Church Rd,Cheadle Hulme, SK8 7JB.

Meetings usually start at 7.30 pm. 

THE 62nd ANNUAL SHOW was held ON SEPTEMBER 2nd 2023 and was a great success with many excellent entries. Trophy winners have now been updated and photographs are now available on the show gallery and video pages More information on News & Views page AS THINGS STAND THIS WILL REGRETTABLY BE THE LAST SHOW UNLESS A NEW COMMITTEE DECIDE TO RESTORE IT AT SOME FUTURE DATE.

Membership cost is £6 per member.

The AGM was held on Tuesday 14th November plus a short slide show.
